Classroom too noisy ?

One of the hardest things in a classroom at times can be keeping the noise at a level where purposeful learning can take place. I have made a variety of classroom Noise -O- Meters that have been tried and tested with a variety of classes.  I find that if you make it clear what the appropriate noise level is it's much easier for the students to follow.  My interactive themed resources tell the class when the noise level is fine, when its getting a little noisy and when they need to quiet down.  These resources can be modified to be used with different classes.  Because of the little gif animation students are easily fooled into thinking that the resource is actually listening to them and changing by itself, especially good when used with a clicker....
